Tony Maserati attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA for Production and Engineering. He made his way to New York City and began working at Sigma Sound Studios. Once he developed a taste for R&B and Hip-Hop his work eventually helped shape the New York Hip-Hop and R&B sound that the public has come to love.
He has worked with industry successes such as Beyonce, Jason Mraz, Mariah Carey, Notorious BIG, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, Tupac Shakur, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, and P!nk. His mixing talents have helped a huge and diverse array of musicians achieve household name and status.
Maserati is a user of both analog and digital technology and had worked with manufacturers to test, create, distribute and promote quality audio solutions for the market. Maserati has been a spokeperson for Waves Audio Ltd., Avid, Chandler Limited, SoundToys, RetroInstruments, Crane Song, Softube and Universal Audio. In partnership with Waves Audiot Ltd., Maserati created and released his favorite analog chains as the first in a line of Waves Signature Series plug-ins – The Tony Maserati Collection.
Maserati’s brand is international. He speaks and teaches both in the United States and abroad.
In 2011, Maserati and Stefan Skarbeck co-founded Mirrorball Entertainment, LLC. Mirrorball Entertainment is a record label as well as a publishing and production company.
